1. A network of interdisciplinary centers advancing policy and practice for and with individuals with developmental and other disabilities, their families, and communities.
Rewrite: An inter-disciplinary network of centers improving policy and practice for people with disabilities.
Explanation: Because the catchphrase's text is not very clear and succinct, consumers may find it difficult to remember it. Because the text is too long, the user's initial focus does not remain on it for a long period of time, making it challenging for them to comprehend what it is trying to express all at once. The user can be confused about whether the catchphrase refers to a network, a center, or whether it focuses on communities because all the information offered for it is complex. The text can be revised to address this lack of clarity. The organization's primary goal is to serve persons with impairments, thus the main heading should clearly state that.

2. Vision: AUCD envisions a future in which all people, including those living with developmental and other disabilities, are fully included, participating members of their communities. We see equitable access to supports and services that reflect the preferences and values of diverse communities and that lead to self-determination, independence, productivity, and a healthy and satisfying quality of life.
Rewrite: Vision: We envision equal access to services and supports that take into account the tastes and ideals of many communities and promote self-determination, independence, productivity, and a good quality of life.
Explanation: The problem with the current text was that the vision was not well highlighted. The association's mission is to provide resources and services to people with developmental disabilities. Regarding the organization's vision, there is a lack of precision and cohesion. The vision outlines what the brand hopes to accomplish and communicate to its audience in the future, and the wording should be written so that readers are encouraged to support the company. Because of this, the brand definition for the website is poor and should be revised to reinforce the brand.
3. AUCD is pleased to present our Strategic Map. This map outlines key priority areas to guide our network and national office over the next several years, and serves as a guide for our collective work and mission. It is our hope that this map will empower and equip the AUCD staff and network membership to increase the power of AUCD by strengthening our network, engaging the public, and expanding our impact to the broader disability community and other key stakeholders.
Rewrite: This map serves as a road map for our group's activities and mission and identifies important priority areas that will direct our network and national office over the coming years. It is our intention that through strengthening our network, including the public, and extending our reach to the larger disability community and other important stakeholders, this map will empower and equip the AUCD staff and network members to boost the power of AUCD.
Explanation: This text discusses the organization's strategic plan and its goals for the upcoming several years. Additionally, it hopes to act as a manual for the task and objective. But there is a lot of language that is superfluous and can be cut out rather than discussing the strategic map. There is a lack of usefulness in the existing text and can be updated to explain the strategic map in more detail.

Rewrite: Donate to AUCD: AUCD is a 501© non-profit organisation welcoming your heartfelt tax deductible donations. Your effort is appreciated and highly praised! Please feel free to use the link on the right to make your donation today. We really appreciate the support of our partners, sponsors and donors and welcome any new sponsors for the same.
Explanation: This text asks the user to donate to the organisation. But the text is written in a way that the user is neither motivated nor convinced to donate any amount of money to the organisation. This type of text should be motivating the user and should include text which provides the user with information on how the donation will help the organisation. Informal ques and adjectives shall be added to make the people donating feel appreciated.

Rewrite: The news portal contains various newsletters to create awareness and portray necessary information regarding the current happenings around the world. Below categories are mentioned to view more news and events.
Explanation: This page serves as the home page for the AUCD website's news portal. The number of portals that are a component of the website and the quantity of newsletters, however, are not adequately disclosed. The current text relating news on this page has no value and is easily replaceable or overlooked.
Project description
The holoprojector project in HCC 613 focused on user interface prototyping and development under the guidance of Dr. Helena Mentis. The project involved gathering user data, conducting user and task analysis, exploring environmental factors, and visualizing user data through techniques like empathy mapping and hierarchical task analysis. The team created low-fidelity paper prototypes to test design ideas and refine the user experience before moving to digital prototypes. The project emphasized the importance of understanding user needs, creating practical solutions, and using paper prototyping to improve design quality and collaboration.
A holoprojector is a device that projects three-dimensional holographic images into the air, creating realistic and immersive visual experiences. It utilizes advanced technology to display holographic projections that can be interacted with in a virtual environment. Holoprojectors are often used for various purposes such as entertainment, communication, training, and data visualization, offering a futuristic and engaging way to present information.
Learnings
This class provided an excellent chance for me to learn new techniques, and exploring sci-fi technology added to the fun. Among the techniques we learned, I especially liked roleplaying and creating medium-fidelity prototypes with slideware.
I discovered that the most successful phase was mid-fidelity prototyping in slideware. This phase may have made me think more thoroughly about users and how changes to the device could improve their experience. The project's rapid and continuous development made it difficult to take a step back and consider the big picture.
My primary goal as a designer is to create real-world solutions for real individuals. As a result, it was difficult for me to avoid the temptation to develop sci-fi technology that might not be practical for everyday users. User analysis enabled me to acquire a better understanding of our target users' needs and pain points. Analyzing their environments and creating an empathy map gave me a clear understanding of the needs of the users and the contexts in which they would use the device. Creating paper prototypes of the device was a fun experience that enabled me to indulge my passion for arts and crafts, particularly paper art. It also helped me validate the task analysis and user flow, and the navigation between screens was well-considered.
The video below is me explaining how the process was and my learnings from the same. Hope you like it! :)

Story telling -Story boarding
The process comprises of 5 steps starting from gathering of the data , to visualizing, creating prototypes and storyboards before approaching the final step of creating a animated video of the revised story with the device.
