Idea generation

ROLE PLAYING AND GROUP IDEATION
Role-playing involves taking on different perspectives or personas to generate ideas from different viewpoints. It can be useful when brainstorming ideas for marketing campaigns, product development, or any situation where understanding the perspective of a different group of people would be helpful. According to a study published in the Journal of Creative Behavior, roleplaying can help people generate more creative ideas by allowing them to think from different perspectives. For Rolestorming, I put myself in the shoes of Darth Vader, contemplating his needs, preferences, and motivations while using the device. I acted in two scenes for the two HTA assignments. Following that, I sought the assistance of my friends to work with me in order to gain a different perspective on completing the tasks. Each Rolestorming session offered a new perspective and distinct approaches to completing a job. This method helped me build empathy for the user while also breaking down my personal biases. However, it took a reasonable amount of time to gather people, explain the context and details of the tasks, and ultimately execute them.
The Group Ideation approach was the most playful and resourceful of all the brainstorming techniques I tried. I collaborated with some companions who had seen the Star Wars film. We shared our thoughts and ideas in an honest, non-judgmental environment after explaining the context and details of the duties. We even began to expand on each other's ideas while challenging those assumptions. This technique assisted me in generating ideas and perspectives that I would not have considered otherwise.
FINAL SCREEN LOCATION AND SIZE
Based on the brainstorming, these following questions were answered:
Where is the UI / screen located?
The screen will be located at the center of the device. This device will contain a minimum amount of buttons as it will consist of screens.
How does your user interact with it?
The user will use the button to start the device. Once the device is started, the user will be able to access the data and perform functions via the holoprojection emitted from the device.
What size is the UI / screen?
The size of the UI/Screen will be the whole device.
How does this technology provide feedback?
The technology will be able to provide feedback via voice commands and changing of lights on the device.
